Booking funeral transport with Elegance Funeral Cars is straightforward and secure. We work with trusted, professional vehicle owners across the UK — some take payments via Stripe, while others prefer direct bank transfer. The payment method is always shown clearly before you confirm anything.
How It Works
- 1. Tell us the date, collection address, service location and any onward journey details.
- 2. We show available vehicles and prices from trusted local suppliers.
- 3. Choose a vehicle and reserve it with an upfront payment where required.
- 4. You receive confirmation and the supplier’s contact details to finalise timings.
- 5. Any remaining balance is paid according to the supplier’s payment terms (outlined below).
Payment Types
We support two simple ways to pay, depending on the supplier you choose:
✔ Stripe-Connected Supplier
Your payment is handled securely via Stripe. You’ll typically pay:
- An upfront reservation fee today (this may include a supplier deposit where applicable)
- The remaining balance automatically on the date shown at checkout
No bank transfers — everything is scheduled and confirmed.
✔ Direct-Pay Supplier
If your chosen supplier doesn’t use Stripe, you’ll pay:
- An upfront platform reservation fee to us today (non-refundable)
- The deposit and balance directly to the supplier on their terms
We’ll provide the supplier’s payment instructions once your booking is confirmed.
When Will I Pay the Final Balance?
The timing depends on the supplier’s setup:
- Stripe-connected suppliers: final payment is taken automatically on the date shown at checkout (often 14–28 days beforehand).
- Direct-pay suppliers: the supplier confirms their deposit and balance dates — commonly before the service date.

Every booking is covered by our Terms & Conditions and supported by our UK team. You’ll receive clear paperwork and the vehicle owner’s contact details. If anything needs adjusting, we’ll help you get it corrected quickly.
